Original 1970s cabinets with fixed shelves
Many 1970s kitchens still have deep, fixed lower shelves. As long as the boxes are solid, roll-outs retrofit well.
Serving Elk Grove Village & nearby Itasca, Wood Dale
We fit roll-out shelves, trash pull-outs and corner organizers into the cabinets already in your Elk Grove Village kitchen.
Getting on your knees to find a lid is a cabinet problem, not an organizing one. We retrofit sliding shelves and organizers into existing kitchen cabinets around Elk Grove Village, sized cabinet by cabinet instead of bought off a shelf.

A roll-out under the sink has to work around the disposal, the trap and any filter. We measure each before ordering.
Spice racks on the counter waste prep space. A slim base pull-out or drawer insert keeps jars labeled side up.
Trays and boards stored flat end up under everything. Vertical dividers let you slide one out without moving the rest.
Freestanding cans get kicked and smell. A cabinet pull-out with lids or a door-mounted unit tucks them away.
Upper cabinets above eye level are hard to use. A pull-down shelf or a shallow organizer can bring items lower or forward.
If the back of the pantry cabinet is full of things you forgot you had, sliding shelves fix that.
A lid rack or vertical dividers on a roll-out stand lids on edge so they stop spilling across the shelf.

DetailThis one is a two-story colonial from the 1990s in Elk Grove Village. The kitchen as it was: honey-oak cathedral raised-panel cabinets with worn finish near the handles, brass knobs. The reason for the call: deep base cabinets where pots got lost at the back. Finished kitchen: two wooden roll-out shelves in the deep base cabinet, pots and pans in neat rows that slide out to the front. On site this meant installing roll-out shelves, trash, corner and under-sink units, plus adjustment and walkthrough.
